Times Union reported that Treetop, through Donovan Drive Holdings LLC, entered a 1 GW East Fishkill data center into the NYISO queue in July 2025 after an earlier warehouse proposal for wooded parcels off Lime Kiln Road. The first 500 MW phase was described as slated for 2028, with a second 500 MW by 2030, but no formal town data-center application had been filed. On June 26, 2026, the East Fishkill Town Board unanimously approved a three-year moratorium on large data centers through 2029, materially delaying or blocking consideration of the project; Data Center Dynamics described the proposal as a 1.16 million-square-foot data center south of Old State Road and Interstate 52.
