T5 Data Centers is considering a 312,000-square-foot data center on about 18.64 acres at Stonecroft Boulevard and Lee Road in Westfields International Center. A May 6 letter to Fairfax County said T5 intends to seek a special exception because the planned facility exceeds the 80,000-square-foot I-3 data-center limit. The 60 MW figure is on-site natural-gas fuel-cell electricity intended to serve the data center's base load, not confirmed critical IT load.
