The project remains under construction, but June 2026 air-permit coverage materially updates the on-site generation picture: SCDES held a hearing on Valara/NorthMark's draft permit to add 11 natural-gas turbines, after an earlier permit for about 48 MW of generation. The SCDES fact sheet describes five 17 MW Baker Hughes turbines and six 54 MW GE turbines, or about 409 MW of additional turbine capacity; the 457 MW value is on-site generation capacity, not confirmed IT load.
