DCD reported that NCCS, an affiliate of NYDIG, brought a June 26 presubmission to the Massena Town Planning Board for the old Reynolds plant site and has revised the plan from the earlier three-building, nearly 1.5 million-square-foot, roughly 635 MW version to two new data halls on about 355 developable acres next to its existing 110-acre site. The revised plan would phase out on-site Bitcoin mining, reduce the building footprint by about 400,000 square feet, cut standby generators from 316 to 124, use closed-loop cooling, and retain an expected two-year phased construction schedule with 1,800 to 2,500 peak construction jobs and about 200 permanent jobs.
