WBHM/BirminghamWatch reported on April 25, 2026 that Birmingham officials concluded special exceptions were not required for associated Alabama Power switching/substation infrastructure for the 300 MW BHM01 data center, clearing the project to move to its next development phase; the same report said Nebius affiliate Alabama ADC Holdings acquired 201, 250, and 260 Milan Parkway and 2500 Venice Road for approximately $90 million.
