Google says it purchased land at the Port of Little Rock for a potential data center and is performing engineering, environmental, and utility-load diligence. DCD reported in January 2026 that Google was behind the previously undisclosed $1 billion Willowbend Capital project. Project remains in evaluation/permitting rather than construction.
