USACE Norfolk District published Google's Project Skye permit notice on June 29, 2026. The proposed campus is south of Genito Road, east of Moseley Road, and north of Duval Road in Chesterfield County, and the permit application describes at least five data center buildings, three substations, parking, roads, utilities, and stormwater facilities. The application reports impacts to 17.99 acres of palustrine forested wetlands, 8,115 linear feet of stream channel, conversion of 7.23 acres of forested wetlands to emergent wetlands, and 125 linear feet of temporary stream impacts, with comments due July 28, 2026. DCD separately reported the property spans 887.7 acres.
