Located at 6201 Frost Place near Burtonsville substation. Greenfield site. Not yet commissioned or leased. Prince George's County delayed data center approvals amid community concerns in late 2024. On July 7, 2026, the Prince George's County Council adopted CR-066-2026, extending the restriction into a two-year moratorium on acceptance, processing, review, and approval of qualified-data-center subdivision and detailed-site-plan applications; Konterra 1 remains planned rather than operational or under construction. Investment estimated at $7M/MW.
