City materials identify a proposed Scannell Properties technology park/data center totaling about 1.3 million square feet on about 106 acres between Otter Creek Crossing Industrial Park, 90th Street NW, and Bertram Chain of Lakes Regional Park. DCD reported a Cushman & Wakefield brochure suggesting the site could offer 150 MW by 2027. A January 12, 2026 city update says officials voted to re-analyze the site's land-use guidance and direct the Planning Commission to hold a public hearing; the city status page says no annexation petition, environmental review, formal development-stage application, or final-stage application had been received.
