Riot's Kentucky facilities came through the 2024 Block Mining acquisition and consist of two operational Kentucky bitcoin-mining/data-center sites totaling 60 MW of developed operational capacity, with 110 MW contracted capacity and a potential pipeline to more than 300 MW in Kentucky. In May 2026, Riot and Terrestrial Energy announced a collaboration to evaluate nuclear-powered large-scale data center projects, including candidate opportunities at Riot's existing Kentucky facilities, but no specific new Kentucky nuclear-powered facility has been announced.
