Palm Beach County commissioners voted 5-1 on July 15, 2026 to deny without prejudice the Project Tango hyperscale AI data-center expansion, halting the proposed 3.5-3.6 million-square-foot amendment that included about 1.03 million square feet of data-center space and a projected 600 MW draw. The vote did not extinguish the older underlying approval, under which developers still have rights to build 1.2 million square feet of warehouses and a 206,000-square-foot data center on the Central Park Commerce Center site.
