Lyon Township's public Project Flex document center was updated June 11, 2026 and includes application/review documents, presentations from Verrus and DTE, energy-audit responses, fire review, noise studies, and tax analysis. Secondary reporting describes a six-building, roughly 1.8 million sq ft campus on about 172 acres. Planet Detroit reported May 18, 2026 that Lyon Township unanimously denied drainage easements needed for Project Flex and that without the drain bypass the 172-acre, 1.8 million sq ft site could not be developed. The Gander's July 16 directory adds that developers abruptly withdrew the site plan on July 13 while reportedly intending to file another site plan.
