Current canonical record
This record tracks AWS Vicksburg Data Center Campus in Mississippi.
Amazon and Mississippi officials announced a planned $3B Warren County data center campus in Vicksburg on November 20, 2025, described as the largest private investment in Warren County history and expected to create at least 200 full-time data center jobs plus more than 300 additional regional positions. The MDA/Governor announcement said construction of the Vicksburg data center complex is expected to begin in 2026. Amazon's April 9, 2026 statewide expansion announcement again listed Vicksburg as a planned $3B project creating at least 200 high-paying full-time positions, separate from the already tracked Madison County expansion and Clinton project. Mississippi Today reported on June 9, 2026 that Amazon said the Vicksburg facility is in the site-prep and pre-construction phase; status remains planned because the company characterized the phase as pre-construction.
